Attending the inter seta conference raised a few thought provoking questions since they will no long belong to the Department Of Labour (DOL) but now fall part of the Department of Education (DOE)and since the seta's existance seems to come under threat every few years. 1.How will this integration take place, and what impact will it have on the training within the seta sectors?
2.Will learners who have gained certificates through setas and unit standard be able to enter the universities without the bureaucratic bridging (Short)courses to raise capital, and do they have a proper RPL processes in place?
3.What impact will this have on non performing seta's?
